Abandoned prisons, forgotten nuclear sites, precarious rooftops, derelict nursing homes and overgrown airplane hangars are just a few of the locations East Nashville urban explorer Jeremy Abbott has documented on his Instagram account, @AbandonedNashville.
Since starting the account in March 2015, Abbott, 28, has not only explored these locations with more than 27,000 followers looking on, but also come face-to-face with the wild animals, angry security officers, facility hazards and eerie vibes that come along with them.
