It is a very long essay, but one that you really should read, and should forward to anyone you know who opposes the Iraq war. By the way, not all military moms agree with Cindy Sheehan – and some of them are headed to Crawford, Texas, to let President Bush know that. Also today: Bob Krumm says Tre Hargett, leaving his lawmaker job for one as a lobbyist, "did the wrong thing, but probably not for the wrong reasons." I think Bob's right, and I can't blame Hargett, who has young children, for wanting a job that paid more. I have young children too. Menwhile, Rick Forman wonders if blogs are popular in part due to "the lack of real investigative journalism coming from the main stream media." ...
