Cheney Slams Durbin's "Nazi" Slander

Vice President Dick Cheney was on Steve Gill's Nashville talk radio show this morning on WTN 99.7, and among the topics discussed: Illinois Sen. Dick Durbin likening the American troops who are guarding terrorists and Taliban fighters imprisoned at Guantanamo Bay to "Nazis." Here's the audio of those portions of the interview.

UPDATE: Durbin issued a conditional "regret" for his remarks, as he's tagged as perhaps becoming the "Hanoi Jane" of the War on Terror.

FANTASTIC! Emperor Cheney has declared all of the detainees guilty -- who needs even the most minimal due process for individuals being held without being charged? Our all knowing executive "knows" they're guilty. Thank you so much for providing this reassuring message from the infallible one.

One of the first rules of politics is that most people don't pay attention to politics. Thanks to Democrats like Durbin even the most oblivious Americans are beginning to understand that the Democratic party is controlled by people who have allied themselves with America's enemies.

It is a hallmark of our over lawyered nation that lefties see everything in terms of legal niceties. These are enemy combatants who are fortunate that they were not summarily executed on the battlefield (as the Geneva Convention allows), perhpaps because they had intelligence value.

Pardon me if the safety of my family and fellow citizens comes before the music selection and temperatures that these enemies are being subjected to.
