« Wednesday Barn Blogging | Main | No Comments » June 8, 2005Video BloggingUntil today, I had never produced a video clip, but today at work we had a groundbreaking for a new residence hall, so it seemed a good time to try. My co-worker shot the video with a cheap Sony digital video cam, and we produced a 2-minute package using Windows Movie Maker, which came pre-loaded on my Dell Inspiron 700m. It isn't Star Wars but it's serviceable. It's on the university's news website, which is a site I built using MovableType's blogging application. The implications for blogging are, of course, big. A digital video camera just jumped up a bit higher on my "must-get" list. Posted in Blogging & Journalism

I just started playing around with Microsoft Movie Maker a couple of days ago. I'm hoping to employ its use along with my digital camera (in video mode) over in Moldova when I go there on a misson trip. The only issue (from there) would be uploading them due to size and connectivity. However, I do hope to have some up at least when I get back. Speaking of Moldova, I also started a group blog for the trip. I'm going to make public that URL in the next couple of days. Posted by: Blake at June 9, 2005 07:11 AMPost a comment
