The Grand Slam

Rob Huddleston writes:

It's hard to be anti-civil rights, anti-family values, anti-religious rights, pro-divorce, and anti-pharmacist in one editorial, but the liberal elites at the Nashville fishwrapper somehow managed to pull it off.
Yes, they did

"professors who are urging students to explore ideas." -- huh... Having your "academic freedom ... infringed upon by instructors who create a hostile environment" by a lefty professor is "explor[ing] ideas" and, as a result, the student is being close-minded. Bet if it comes from a conservative professor (are there any?), it's not viewed so fluffily. I would bet the conservative professor would get ousted, or at least accused of creating a "hostile environment," even without this bill. What? You say it's already happening?

Sure, it's the STUDENT who should dictate what is worth knowing, and what is not.

If you're so stupid as to apply to a university that teaches things you don't want to know, then you really don't deserve a diploma.
