On Blogs and Governing

I was interviewed Friday by Christopher Swope, a reporter for Governing magazine, on the growing role of blogs in state legislative matters. Part of our discussion focused on whether blogs are filling a growing gap in statehouse coverage left by newspapers that have reduced their presence and coverage of such things. Yes, I got in a plug for the VolPols project. Swope later emailed me a link to this related article from the July/August 1998 edition of American Journalism Review.

UPDATE: The story is scheduled to run in the July issue.
