« Bredesen's Blog | Main | Radio Interview » May 10, 2005A Thought Over CoffeeJason Duncan, a soon-to-be graduate of Belmont University, where part of my job is coaching faculty members to blog, has launched a blog of his own to chronicle the launch of Cafe Evoke, a new coffeeshop in Bozeman, Montana. Duncan will soon graduate from Belmont's Entrepreneurship program, which is lead by Dr. Jeff Cornwall, Belmont's first blogging professor. Cornwall authors The Entrepreneurial Mind. In all my efforts to encourage faculty members to blog as a way of raising Belmont's profile, it never occured to me that some of their students might also follow suit. But they are, and that would seem to be a good thing for Belmont. What, after all, will be the long-term PR value to Belmont of posts like this one, especially if Cafe Evoke and its blog become big hits in Bozeman and the business blogosphere respectively? Hard to measure. But, then, blogging is the lowest-cost method of message distribution yet devised. Posted in Blogging & Journalism
