Blogger Makes Nashville News

Blogger Blake Wylie, of NashvilleFiles, gets credit from The Tennessean for leading the charge in opposition to the Nashville police department's plans to install surveillance cameras all over the city. The Tennessean, by the way, appears to be starting to wake up to the blogosphere - although no one from the paper has yet registered to attend BlogNashville - or to cover it - even though it is happening right in the paper's back yard and bringing some of the leading people in blog-journalism and new media to Nashville. And it's free.
