« Bryant Says Corker's Record of Tax Hikes Is Hurting Him in Polls | Main | Bonus Barn-Blogging » April 7, 2005Travel DayBlogging will be light to non-existent today as I'm on job-related travel. But I've posted so much great stuff in the last few days that you can't possibly have read all of it yet... UPDATE: I'm on the campus of Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tenn., in West Tennessee, for the Spring meeting of the Tennessee Collegiate Public Relations Association. The school's rather nice new Brown-Kopel Business Center has freely available wi-fi access. The drive over from Nashville was rather nice - and I noticed something interesting. Redbud trees, which fill each Spring in Middle Tennessee with a profusion of lavender, are much less numerous on the west side of the Tennessee River, which is the dividing line between Middle and West Tennessee. And evergreens are much more numerous west of the river. The change is immediate upon crossing the river. More later... UPDATE: Link fixed. Things area always better with the dubya added... Hey, Bill, You're in MY HOMETOWN. Say hello to my mom for me, if you don't mind. I'd strongly recommend going to Bell's Drive-Inn for the best hamburger in the state. Jay (formerly and once again of drawingdead.com) Posted by: Jay at April 7, 2005 02:45 PMBill, You're in MY HOMETOWN! Say hello to my mom for me, if you don't mind. Might I suggest that you swing by Bell's Drive-Inn for the best cheeseburger in the state. Enjoy your day in Henderson.
