Bill: I really like the network model which has grown up around the www.indymedia.org sites. Content aside, their aggregation model tied to SMIL keywords could bring the Google Adsense model over to the free video publishing world. Another XML technology, which is taking off in the EU, is extensible business reporting language (XBRL) and when folks hear enough about it they are going to realize it can do what SOX was indtended to do here. We'll have millions of little number crunchers running around, aggregating, "balance scorecarding" biz execs and politicians alike. Ah, wouldn't it be cool if the liberal, conservative and libertine movements would all agree to ask for a budget in number crunchable format from every government and nonprofit? If they are getting into vlogs (I know they are)then Watch out!:-) Posted by: mr lawson at March 30, 2005 01:00 AMPost a comment
