« Conyers Gets It Right | Main | Corker's Sundquist Problem » March 24, 2005BacklashMatthew White, who works in the private sector now, but still has good sources of info inside the state legislature where he formerly was a GOP staffer, reports that Tennessee House Speaker Jimmy Naifeh has retaliated against state Rep. Stacey Campfield, a Republican, who had the temerity to start a blog. Well, if Speaker Naifeh doesn't like Campfield's blog, he really won't like this: I would be happy to host a group blog here by as many Tennessee Republican state legislators and state senators as would like to contribute. I could have a basic site set up in a matter of hours. I might even invite a select few conservative Democrats join the blog. (Are you listening Frank Buck and Ben West?) Thanks for blogging Bill. I think all elected officials should have their own individual blogs. I think group blogs lead to group think. One blog, one blogger. That's my opinion. Speaker Naifeh needs to follow the good lead of Representative Campfield and get his own personal blog. Keep up the good work. Doug Kenline Post a comment
