From whom and when did Saddam acquire said WMDs? When were they used? Too many contextual gaps here. We didn't care about him gassing his own people until he took things just a bit too far--he invaded Kuwait! Now our good buddy was a "dictator" and a "massive human rights abuser", nevermind the fact his character hadn't changed one bit! He was just as much a cruel killer back when we supported him.
