From whom and when did Saddam acquire said WMDs? When were they used? Too many contextual gaps here.

March 16,1988, joe. joe's the the first person I've come across who actually contests the fact that Saddam gassed the Kurds. Fascinating. How do you think they got dead joe? Mass suicide?

Saddam had plenty of WMDs back in the 80s, when we actively supported him. We didn't care about him gassing his own people until he took things just a bit too far--he invaded Kuwait! Now our good buddy was a "dictator" and a "massive human rights abuser", nevermind the fact his character hadn't changed one bit! He was just as much a cruel killer back when we supported him.

So yeah, Saddam had WMDs once--and we supported it.

The amazing hypocrisy of US foreign policy. Better than any sitcom.
