Photoblogging the Battle in Iraq

Lance Frizzell photoblogs the distribution of school supplies to children in northern Iraq by the U.S. military, and says, "pity there were no journalists around."

Ah, but there was a journalist there, Lance. You. With your digital camera. That's the beauty of the blogosphere - it allows anyone to be a journalist. And in the case of the War on Terror, it is allowing the truth in all its complexity and variety and detail about the war and the reality of Iraq today get out around the mainstream media's filter and despite the MSM's fixation on bad news.

P.S. Lance Frizzell's Lance in Iraq blog is getting a cool new design installed today or tomorrow by my favorite blog designer, Todd Anderson.
