Friday Bird Blogging*

I spotted these cranes doing some sort of a mating dance outside my office window, high over the construction site where Belmont University is building a new academic building. Here is an additional view. And below is a photo of a construction worker on the permanent crane, which, when full-grown, will rise 200 feet from the below-ground-level base of the construction site. It will have a 219-foot beak boom.
