« Nashville Bloggers Breakfast | Main | Things Are Happening » February 12, 2005Lance Temporarily Not In IraqLance Frizzell, home on a 15-day leave from Iraq, was featured in a story on WKRN Channel 2 tonight. Lance's blog was read by 20,000 different people in January. I'll link to the WKRN story if and when it's available online in text and/or video. A redesign of his blog, which I'm proud to host, is in the works. Comments
I followed your link instead of my bookmark to Lances's site and discovered that you're hosting him. I'm quite a fan of milblogs so thank you for your generousity in helping make one more available. Posted by: Retread at February 13, 2005 09:35 AMLance in Iraq is most helpfull to us to understand what is happening in Iraq. It is one of only two ways We can follow our son who is from owings maryland who is with the 278th Posted by: Charles Hanners at February 13, 2005 09:57 AMMost of the postings on the Lance of Iraq blog do nothing but bash liberals and promote hate towards half of the friends and families of the 278th. I have e-mailed Lance about this and all I got in return was more bashing and hateful comments like: It’s important to mock and ridicule and bankrupt liberals and they are dangerous and immoral. This kind of extremist is what gives Republicans a bad name. Just like the person that commented before me, I have family in the 278th and this blog is one of only a few ways to keep up with the 278th. On this blog most of the time you don't hear about the 278th, instead you hear about what a bad person Jimmy Carter is. I already know what the liberals are doing wrong, but that’s not what I’m coming to this blog for. I come because Lance said, “My goal with the blog is to try to bring a little peace of mind to the families of 278th soldiers. There’s a lot of little things happening over here that do make life safe and comfortable, even enjoyable,” Thanks, OP is one of my tinfoil hatters. Actually, he's the only one.
