They responded, and I learned of a host of blogs I'd never heard of before. Some are political, some personal, some ... passingly strange. Some, it must be said, are better than others. But that's the nature of this small-d democratic medium. The cream shall rise. One that may rise is HispanicNashville.com, in business for about a year now and edited by John Lamb, a Nashville attorney who blogs "News and Events of Interest to the Hispanic Community ." Nashville has a large Hispanic community. Lamb's resume is impressive and augers will for his blog. Incidentally, Nashville also one of the largest Kurdish communities in the United States. In a related development, Mark A. Rose, who blogs from the eastern Nashville suburb of Lebanon (That's "Lebnin" to you outsiders), has moved his blog to the easy-to-remember MarkARose.com. Rose writes op-eds occasionally for the Lebanon Democrat. Now if he would just install true blogging software and offer permalinks and commenting... Posted in Nashville
