Badabing Badabang Badaboom

Outside my office window, blasting is continuing at the construction site for a new academic building. Currently, construction crews are blasting almost daily and scooping out huge amounts of rock in preparation for a 350-car underground parking garage. The shot below was taken immediately after the explosion, which pushed up a mountain of rock and dirt like a giant and very loud JiffyPop popcorn.
