« Happy New Year | Main | Tsunami: The $35 Million Myth » January 1, 200514.5 Million Pages ServedThe final stats are in and HobbsOnline served up 14.5 million pages to readers in 2004. On average, the site had 30,000 unique visitors every month. The blog's single most-viewed category archive was my archive of Voter Fraud news, the most comprehensive of its kind online, viewed 51,731 times. The second most-viewed archive was my rather lengthy collection of "Was Bush AWOL?" news and commentary, accessed 17,728 times. RatherGate had a little something to do with that. The single most-read post was Because I Could, my de John Kerry: Let's Play Defense - March 16, read 15,342 times My least-read post of 2004 was this one, posted March 17 and read just 204 times - which is a good indicator of why my plans for a multi-contributor blog dedicated to cycling didn't meet with success. One caveat about the stats: those indicate how many times the post's individual page was accessed via the permalink, and does not include the number of times the post was read by the reader scrolling the homepage Thanks for reading!
