Bill, one of the more laughable arguments used by Tennesseans for More Taxation is that supposedly more citizens will save under an income tax. How can they know what we are spending under a sales tax now, since it is a consumption tax? Do they have some crystal ball? I doubt the supposed savings I get from retail and groceries will be more than the amount I get robbed out of my check. Posted by: Drake at December 17, 2004 01:07 PMPost a comment
