Fighting Back

This notice is for any of my readers who have subscribed to the email alert that this blog sends out any day the site is updated. That service is powered by Bloglet.com. I may have to suspend the service until I find a replacement. It seems that a series of email addresses tied to porn and gambling spam have been subscribed to the list and, although I'm not sure exactly how, it seems that the automatic email alerts they are receiving from this site trigger comment-spam attacks. A similar thing appears to be happening with a blog I helped a faculty member set up at work.

I have sent emails to the creator of Bloglet but have never recieved a response, and Bloglet does not provide a way for me to delete a subscriber from the list. If you know of a good alternative to the Bloglet service please let me know.
