That's a Rap

Young Buck might surrender.

People in the Nashville rap community rallied around Young Buck yesterday, while Santa Monica, Calif., detectives seeking him in connection with a stabbing were negotiating with an attorney for his surrender. Young Buck, 23, whose real name is David Darnell Brown, is accused of stabbing a man at Monday night's Vibe Awards in California; the incident apparently was sparked when the Nashville rapper's musical mentor, Dr. Dre, was punched just before being handed a lifetime achievement award.
As I said yesterday, for a rap artist, just living longer than a few years is itself a lifetime achievement award.
A surrender agreement was in the works with an unidentified attorney last night, Santa Monica police said. , people continued to talk about one of their own, who is a member of superstar 50 Cent's G Unit rap group and whose debut solo album, Straight Outta Ca$hville, made its debut in August at No. 3 on the Billboard charts.

The reaction of Earl Jordan, founder of Partners in the Struggle, an anti-violence community group, was to organize a rally tomorrow in support of the local rapper.

An anti-violence group plans to rally in support of a rap artist who has a violent past and is accused of stabbing someone. Um... okay.

This is a hoot! And Dr. Dre got punched? HA! HA! HA!

Sorry.

Forget the "non-violence" group, what Young Buck (isn't "Buck" a racist term?) needs is a good talking to by Bill Cosby followed by a few years in jail.

Can not get into rap. Just can not. I like music not talk. Would be good for Bill Cosby to come out and talk to da rapper, wraper!?!

Yep, wrap around paper of talkin' about themselves and their sad lives. Country music does that, but at least the artist strums a guitar.

They misspelled that word - RAP. There is a C missing, I think. I once lived in a ghetto type neighborhood. Young gangsters standing aroud listening to rap and trying to intimidate others, smashing windows, beating up cars, occasionally using guns like fireworks. Eventually, a 13 year old girl was shot by accident while she was riding a birthday gift aroud the park. She fell and died in front of me. I can't hear that music without that memory coming back. I don't like RAP. I don't like the attitudes of rappers and rap fans. I don't like the faces they put on. I don't like the clothes. I don't like their slang. I wish it would all go back to the hell it crept out of.

My name is Earl Jordan and I'm the Founder, President and Ceo of the Partners In The Struggle Organization. I'm reading the comments about Young Buck and the RALLY we conducted on last Saturday, November 20th. I feel that he ( Young Buck ) needs that REAL Model in his life right now, to guide him correctly. If he was the one who stabbed the gentleman; he should be held accountable of his actions. But, as for me and what I see with young BLACK men; we are losing control and I just wanted to let him know, that I support him in the mist of his trials he going through and what he's about to go through and that we're praying for him.

Last but not least, I pray that the HIP/HOP music leaders come togehter and hold a conference and talk to all of our brothers' and sisters, so that we can all 'STOP THE VIOLENCE'.

Thank you,

Earl Jordan.
