Kerry Campaign Calls Non-Existent Voters

voterfraudlogo.GIFA blogger finds evidence of voter fraud - the local office of the Kerry campaign has at least six different alleged voters registered at his address:

In the last three or four days, my residence has received a half dozen calls from the Clark County "Kerry" Campaign. My caller ID reads: "OHIO VICTORY 937-323-5158". I'm posting that in it's entirety so that if any web crawler comes across it, they'll get slammed by unsolicited phone calls. Anyhow, every time I answer the person on the other line asks for someone who doesn't live at my residence. It's been a different name every time. Interesting isn't it? Could this be another sign that someone has registered "people" to vote using false information? If so that's at least a half dozen voters with my phone number. I know for certain that they don't have old residents of this house, since it has been in my family for many years with no one by those names.

We have called that number to find out where they are getting their contact lists. Well it so happens that they get their lists from the Clark County Board of Elections. Now the board of elections only maintains lists of people who are registered to vote. This means that there are at least five (or more) individuals who have been registered with my phone number, but do not live at this residence. This may be going somewhere....stay tuned.

And he's not the only person with that experience. If you spot a news story about suspected voter fraud in your part of the country, please send me the link and a brief summary to voterfraud-at-gmail.com.

So this would be the same Clark County, Ohio that readers of the Guardian (UK) were encouraged to influence votes in. Supposedly that newspaper was sold a copy of the voter roll for $25 from the county. Seems to me it would be just as easy to get one for more nefarious purposes.

It's just as likely that it is something completely benign. For example, they could have purchased calling lists from various sources where the data was not very solid to begin with or was never well scrubbed. Are you in any kind of business where you buy mailing or calling lists? They are never 100% correct and some of them are terribly out of date and filled with errors.

You are jumping to a conclusion not supported by the evidence.

RE: Mr. William Trippe's comments

The original post said that the calls were based on lists obtained from the county registrar's office. Please read the posts and think before commenting.

If the Kerry campaign obtained the phone numbers from the Clark County Board of Elections it is the Clark County Board of Elections that has "at least six different alleged voters registered at his address," NOT the Kerry campaign. I don't know about anyone else, but I frequently use false information when filling out forms, especially phone numbers. Seems like this loser got lucky :)

You could just as easily agrue that the Bush Campaign registered the Phantom 6. Or perhaps there is a band of Secret Hillbillies under your house. Have you checked there lately? Spotted any empty moonshine jugs? Or maybe somebody with a multiple personality disorder, had dyslexia while filling out their voter registration cards. There are so many possiblities to explore.

Why am I not surprised at all of this? What with cheating, using handhelds and other devices in school during tests, it seems like this goes along with the territory. Where has ehtics and honesty gone? Then there are the "documentaries". Most with half truths and innuendo. Then there is the national news, what wtih bias and just plain erroneous reporting, what can anyone expect. The "problem" just showed up in the voting, if there is a problem with voter fraud.
