Be advised that Rendell is not just excluding the military votes, he's forcing his Prison Wardens to make sure jailed criminals use the absentee ballot to vote.

Ed Rendell is treating our brave soldiers like they are worthless scum who don't deserve to have a say in this election and he's treating prisoners like they are heroes who deserve to have everyone of their votes counted.

Ed Rendell is going to go down in history as a man who is more interested in criminal votes than he is American Troops.

Why won't Gov Ed Rendell extend the deadline for absentee ballots sent from Pennsylvania soldiers? There are about 17,000 troops overseas. They will receive their absentee ballots a month late because Rendell held them back claiming he needed to see if Nader would be put on the ballot (by the way, he's happy Nadar is not on the ballot, might cost Kerry some votes). This is pure hogwash, it's a convenient excuse, and it's a dirty trick to keep the Pennsylvania military votes from being counted.

At the same time, Rendell has contacted all the State Prison Wardens and is forcing them to make sure that ALL prisoners must be assisted and hand-held so that they can send in Absentee Ballots from prison.

He is cheating and trying to help steal this election for Kerry!

The country needs to know what a snake Ed Rendell is. I voted for him last time, but I will never vote for him again.

According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, "Republican operatives working to re-elect President Bush" in battleground Pennsylvania "submitted last-minute requests in Philadelphia on Friday to relocate 63 polling places…Of the 63 requests for changes, 53 are in political divisions where the population of white voters is less than 10 percent." All 63 are "in political divisions where Democrats hold an overwhelming advantage among registered voters." The city denied the requests, saying they were filed too late to be eligible for a hearing and appeared to be "discriminatory."

Where is yours. THe polling places were set up to afford an obvious advantage to predominantly Black districts, "disenfranchising" white voters, by forcing them to go to black areas of town to vote. Democratic intimidation anyone?

It's nice to see that they are willing to pull out all of the stops. That is an obvious sign of fear. I honestly do not believe this election, if allowed to be done correctly and by the book, would be that close without the Dems trying to fix it. Funny how we aren't hearing ANY of this in the MSM.

Talk about a red herring!!! I guess I gave conniving conservatives too much credit, assuming they would be honest in presnting an issue. There is NO evidence that military votes will not be counted in Pennsylvania. The Bush campaign wants new ballots to be sent to the military to properly reflect the fact that Nader is not on the ballot. However, those in the military who vote for Bush or Kerry on those old ballots will be counted. Why are the Republicans so concerned about service men and women getting a new ballot that doesn't have Nader on it? Apparently, the Republicans petitioned the Court for the right to be able to FAX news ballots to the soldiers! Talk about opening up the process to abuse. Regardless, Bush will lose NO VOTES because of the Court's decision not to force the State of Pennsylania to send new ballots to the soldiers. Good luck finding some other false story to work up your base into hysterics.

I'm afraid that partisan vote-tilting will become the newest election year sport. So many contests are so close that the ROI for vote-rigging is very high. Democrats will point at the flagrant conflict-of-interest of Kathryn Harris in 2000 and the need to keep the vote out of SCOTUS, where a small minority of partisan appointments can overturn the popular vote, as apparently happened in 2000.

As a Navy brat, a Vet, and currently an Army wife, I know first hand that the Liberals do everything in their power to ignore the military opinions and suppress our votes. That late absentee ballot thing happened to me when I was at Pleiku, RVN in 1972. The ballot got to me the Friday before the election, or about four days. Yolo County Clerks have been Democrats since the mid-1960s, at least. Figures. This is a good reason for BRAC-2005 to take a hard look at Tobyhanna AD and remove it from the map. Someone should check out the disappearance of Maggie Bermudez, the registration-getter who was working for Dean Gardner, the Republican Assembly candidate, in Delano, California. Gardner's race with Nicole Parra, the Democratic candidate has gotten unnecessarily bitter. Not only did Bermudez disappear, but her co-registrar did, too. You apparantly didn't read the original content of the Kerry/Edwards 100 day plan. While it's true that the current content on the website only discusses mandatory community service for high school students, the original content also included a mandatory 2-year military service in exchange for college.

How about if you do some research before posting. The original content of the 100-day plan is available on web-caching sites if you'd only look. Best case of Kerry is that this is just another flip flop (the original content was conveniently pulled right before the "Bush is gonna draft you!" attacks. Worst case is that he is still planning on following his original 100-day plan and is going to enact mandatory military service.

You also seem to miss the point that the US is a FREE COUNTRY. Even if his only agenda is forcing community service on high school students, it is wrong.

I wonder what the results would be if there was no fraud at all. I can't help but think Kerry would get "maybe" 30 percent of the vote.

I'm am overseas and registered myself in June 2004 for this election. I got a letter about two weeks later saying I would get my ballot soon.

3 1/2 months later and still no ballot I started emailing the California Elections Division about it. Finally I got an email saying that my ballot was sent out 3 weeks ago, which would have made the date 16 September.

I got my ballot a few days later and it was postmarked 29 Septemeber. They lied to me, plain and simple.

I have been a registered 'CA Independent' for 15 years, but I changed that to Republican JUST FOR THIS ELECTION. Big mistake.

I did get my ballot back in the mail on 12 October, but I just pray that it will be counted.

I have written to the White House and President Bush about this.

I too am very shocked at the how some American's are behaving, but I will continue to believe in the the decency and good of all people. I'm really glad I'm not in America at this time because I would be even more frustrated.

Have you ever served overseas? The only problem with Mr Ed's plan is it is virtually impossible for a member of the US military to send a package overnight. Add on top of that the availability of obtaining a fax line; which btw, a faxed copy if dark enough, can be thrown out as 'unreadable'. Rendell is backpedalling from his original stance, but it still smells.

Never have I witnessed such a cacaphony of partisan blithering. County board of elections, which have the ultimate say in the process not Rendell, are overworked and underfunded; they have neither the time nor money to send out another series of ballots when the previously sent ballots will count. If you are so willing to spout political rhetoric (from both sides) then you should have civil devotion to volunteer at your local polling place (the average pollster is over 70 yrs old), or be willing to pay greater county taxes to fund your county board of elections. Quit whining about an issue much more complex than your simple partisan minds can comprehend and do something.

Breaking News!

Just heard on WPHT, 1210AM, talk show host Dom Giordano interviewed PA Congressman Curt Weldon (from Pennsylvania's Delaware County) and Weldon caught 4 women who visited a prison and they were filmed running from the prison with absentee ballots from the prisoners.

It was filmed by a Philly TV station (not sure which one).

The women somehow went inside to "assist" the prisoners in filling out the ballots. These 4 women were untrained, they didn't know who was a felon and who was not, there was no one supervising what they were doing.

Weldon caught these women red-handed, allegedly college girls (scruffy looking), who should not have been inside and involved in this absentee ballot process.

The warden was filmed denying it happened and then he was shown a ballot and he put his hand to his mouth and told his prison staffer to "be quiet and not say anything".

Curt Weldon and State Represetative Steve Barrar were eye witnesses to the fraud in action and there was a television station there. Weldon has taken legal action to verify that ALL the absentee ballots from prisons be verified. But he did say that it's probably too late because most of the ballots have probably already arrived at the polling place of the criminal's hometown.

This is a result of Gov Rendell's 9-page memo to all the wardens to make sure the jailed criminals get absentee ballots filled out.

Govenor Rendell had to have his arm twisted to finally extend the deadline for Pennsylvania's troops votes to be counted. The deadline was today, Oct 29 but it's been extended to Nov 10, and the votes will count as long as they have been postmarked by Nov 2. If they arrive after Nov 10th, they won't count.

(Personally, I think he should have given them a longer extension of at least 2 weeks because they were sent out a month late).

Pennsylvania's Democratic machine is trying to steal this election. This criminal vote is linked to supressing the military vote.

Whites have to go into muslim/black areas, subject themselves to threats and intimidation for going into the "HOOD" to cast their votes. You liberals should learn the reality of the black neighborhoods, go into them and get mugged, then tell me its all equal, or better yet wear the wrong colors and get attacked by the wrong gang. Rendell has been working hard for a position in Kerry's cabinet. He sent a memo inviting voter fraud in PA prisons, but luckily Congressman Curt Weldon discovered it has evidence of voter fraud occuring in Pennsylvania prisons. And Rendell almost succeeded in supressing the military vote, but now he's acting like a friend of the military, but it's not fooling anyone.

Ed is a partisan hack who will stop at nothing to stay on the good side of Kerry and cheat for Kerry.
