The Kerry Terror Alert System

There's a new terror alert color code system reflecting John Kerry's description of pre-9/11 terrorism as a "nuisance," thanks to the The Fire Ant Gazette. We're currently at "Mildly Annoying." Click the image at left to enlarge it. As election day approaches, remember that John Kerry wants to get America to where it was back before 9/11, when terrorists bombing the World Trade Center, blowing up our embassies, bombing the U.S.S. Cole, etc., was a "nuisance" that, we only learned later, was allowed to grow virtually unchallenged by President Bush's predecessor until it metastasized into the mass murder of 9/11.

Back before 9/11 we were blissfully unaware of the gathering storm. President Bush doesn't want to take us back to 9/10. He wants to take us forward to victory by killing terrorists and crushing their macabre, oppressive, and dangerous religious ideology under the smashing weight of liberty and democracy.

John Kerry proposes we go back to the days when our policies failed to protect us, perhaps overlaid with a tougher defensive wall and better-equipped "first responders" to more quickly extricate dead, injured and dying Americans from the rubble, while leaving the Islamic world largely living under oppressive regimes that foster terrorism both internally and externally. George Bush proposes we go forward to victory, and liberate tens of millions of people from the oppression of radical Islam in the process. One approach is based on fear and selfishness, the other on hope and a desire to do good. Vote your hopes, not your fears.
