« Voter Fraud Roundup | Main | HobbsOnRadio » October 5, 2004Ohio Officials To Defy Law Meant to Reduce Voter Fraud
Cuyahoga County election officials said Monday they will give provisional ballots to every voter who asks for one on Election Day, defying a controversial order from Secretary of State Ken Blackwell. This puts the county at odds with Blackwell, the state's chief election official, who said last month that provisional ballots must not be given to voters who appear at the wrong precincts or polling locations.Let's be clear about what is happening in Ohio: The Republican secretary of state - Ohio's top official in charge of making sure elections are fair, honest and open, is merely seeking to uphold state law. Democrats are calling for defiance of state law, and if they do not follow state law, it will make it easier than ever to commit voter fraud in Ohio. Ohio is a battleground state in this presidential campaign, and has generated numerous reports of voter registration fraud involving Democratic and left-wing partisan organizations. Ohio election officials who do not follow state law are abetting attempted election theft.
