Liberals Seek Open Door to Fraud in Connecticut

voterfraudlogo.GIFToday's Voter Fraud news round-up includes items from Connecticut and Michigan. Jeff H. blogs from Connecticut about an attempt by liberal groups to change the state's voter registration law there. Now, there's nothing wrong with changing the registration deadline per se, and nothing wrong with allowing registration on the day of the election, provided there are stringent controls to verify identity and residence. But these groups aren't proposing that. They simply are trying to convince a court to force the state to allow voters to register on the day of the election, even though that would open the state up to massive voter fraud.

He provides background on the six leftwing groups behind the lawsuit - Connecticut Citizens Action Group, ACORN, Connecticut Common Cause, Connecticut Public Interest Research Group, People for the American Way, and the Working Families Party. Ties to MoveOn.org, America Coming Together and George "Buy the White House for Kerry" Soros abound.

An Absentee Ballot Screw-Up In Michigan?
I haven't verified this, but a blog called "HundredPercenter" says absentee ballots in Michigan contain a printing error that will make it "nearly impossible" for an absentee voter to vote for President Bush. The ballots "are missing the arrows necessary to cast a vote for the Bush/Cheney. Additionally, the way the ballots are set up would make any vote for Bush, appear to be a vote for Kerry," the blog post says. An image of the ballot is included, though - as I've said - I haven't verified that it is, actually, the Michigan absentee ballot. Unlike CBS, I don't believe documents are real just because they help my partisan cause. Anybody know if this is real or not?

Of course, this could be seen as a problem for Democrats as well.

Put simply, another way of looking at this is that what seems like a vote for Kerry is actually a vote for Bush.

If that is true, something needs to be done about that ballet.
