No Show

U.S. Rep. Lincoln Davis, running for a second term in Tennessee's 4th District, was a no-show at a scheduled debate last night. Davis's Republican opponent showed up. She's Janice Bowling. It's a winnable district - it was held by a Republican before Davis won the seat two years ago when the incumbent ran for governor - but defeating Davis will be tough. He takes stands on some issues - guns, for example, that are calculated to make himself appear conservative to the people of the 4th District, but in reality in Washington Davis votes for the Democratic agenda, and will vote for the ultra-liberal Nancy Pelosi to be Speaker of the House if Democrats were ever to gain a majority.

Janice Bowling is a classic low-taxes smaller-government strong-on-defense conservative and she needs your help. Can you spare $10 or $25 for her campaign? If so, click here to donate to her campaign.
