Democrats Caught Cheating in Ohio

hewittbook.jpgDemocrats are trying to steal the election in Ohio, one of the battleground states John Kerry must win in order to win the presidency. Even though Bush has a solid lead nationally, it is imperative that all possible efforts be made to prevent the Democrats from doing what they almost did in Florida in 2000 - steal the election. You can support the Bush campaign's efforts to prevent Democratic election theft by donating to the Bush campaign's General Election Legal and Accounting Compliance Fund.

And if you haven't already done so, buy and read Hugh Hewitt's book, If It's Not Close They Can't Cheat. The book is subtitled "Crushing the Democrats in Every Election and Why Your Life Depends on It."

I have read the book, and it vitally important you do to. Winning the war on terror won't be accomplished in this election, though it can be lost in this election if we chose a commander in chief whose natural instinct is to appease our enemies and put our national security in the hands of the United Nations and the diplomats of nations such as France that don't have our best interests as their first priority.

This election is vital to winning the war against Islamist terror, a victory that can only be accomplished by crushing the party of appeasement in every election for the forseeable future, at all levels of government. Hewitt's book provides nuts-and-bolts advice on how to do just that. His excellent blog is also must-reading now through election day.

Have these types of things been documented in other states?

I seem to remember hearing something about Indiana - with the Julia Carson campaign in the last Congressional election.

Somebody needs to follow up on this....
The original article appeared in the NY Daily News on August 21, 2004:
"Exposed: Scandal of double voters
By RUSS BUETTNER
DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITER
Saturday, August 21st, 2004
Some 46,000 New Yorkers are registered to vote in both the city and Florida, a shocking finding that exposes both states to potential abuses that could alter the outcome of elections, a Daily News investigation shows."
....!We don't need another debacle in Florida or any other State with a high number of "snowbirds" - Northerners who spend the winter in second homes in warmer climes!
.... Thanks for reading this. ....Clyde J. Melancon, Doyline, LA

As a former staffer in a voter registration office, I'd suggest that the cross-registration in Florida and NY is probably primarily caused by poor record-keeping in the election department. I ran a cross-check for duplicate registrations in 2000 between my jurisdiction and a city with a large number of college kids from our jurisdiction. We found matches among the registrations, but none among those casting ballots. I've not seen any serious evidence for people voting in two states or two jurisdictions.

You people who support Bush - I can't believe you. You must not care about clean water, clean air, and the average american. Bush is ruining our environment little by little. We are going backwards instead of forward. You must not care about the future of our environment for our children. And our children who keep dying in this "oil" war that could be run so much better by someone who actually fought in a war - Kerry. Have a nice life knowing you voted for a rotten egg.

How can you accuse the democrats of trying to steal the election in Florida when it is the corrupt Republicans who disenfranchised thousands of voters who would have most likely voted Democrat? And this year, there are countless cases of voter fraud, where the exit polling doesn't match the electronic count, where people voted for Kerry and the computer said Bush. How can you be so blind? The Republicans have stolen the election twice now, and I can't believe anyone could even consider the fact that they haven't tampered with the votes. Especially with Bush friendly people in all of the high up positions? Of course they have cheated, last election the man who programmed the voting machines even said that the Florida would go to Bush next election. How did he know this? The machines were rigged and you all know it. You disgust me.
