CBS has a precarious relationship to the truth. And the mountain of evidence - forensics and witnesses - that these memos are forgeries is the last straw. CBS tried to rig the game when it had them analyzed, but ... The memos are forged. Dan Rather is a liar. And CBS is standing by their story. Today will not be CBS' finest moment. He hid in the Reserves to stay out of Korea (until immediately after it was over) and when we met him in Saudi in 1990 he greatly played up his "former Marine" history.
