Kerry Fires Blanks

John Kerry is criticizing President Bush for allowing a 10-year ban on the sale of certain types of guns lapse. John Kerry is a U.S. Senator, as I recall. So, a simple question for Sen. Kerry: If you really believe that extending the ban was a good idea, why didn't you author and sponsor legislation to extend it?

Apparently, Sir, you do not understand the nuances of authoring legislation! LOL, obviously, neither does he! Good post!

Misfires-John Kerry aims all over the map on guns

John Kerry's flip-flopping on the Iraq war is well known. His statements on hotly contested social issues have also been all over the place. (Kerry says that that life starts at conception, but he votes consistently in favor of abortion.) On guns, the senator's position is even more confusing.

brady bunch gives him an A. NRA/GOA gives him a F. Nuff said. Bersa .380 ccw permit holder.

Great post! It's ironic that while Kerry blasts Bush for not extending the ban, Kerry, being a legislator, is the only one of the two who could have introduced legislation to extend the ban. Maybe Kerry's confused and thinks the Presidency is some sort of monarchy?

Maybe Kerry's confused and thinks the Presidency is some sort of monarchy?

Quite likely; it seems to be a common belief on his side of the aisle.

Kerry is a senator? I thought he was a Vietnam vet.

This whole issue is about where to draw the line. I want to be able to buy a grenade launcher at WalMart. Why shouldn't I be allowed to do so?

As to Gail's comment on abortion, when do you think it should be used?
