Not CBS's First Forged-Memo Scandal

This isn't the first time CBS and 60 Minutes have been caught running a false story based on a faked memo. [Thanks to my reader "Gail," who posted the link in a comment to a previous update on the CBS forgery story.]

cBS is not coughing up the originals. Because they don't have them. Until they can be examined under a microscope to tell if they've acutally been typewritten vs modern printer produced they still haven't proved they are 'real'. Ink jet or laser printers SPRAY the ink on the surface creating a RAISED letter. A typewritten letter is EMBEDED in the paper when the key strikes the paper. Dot matrix pattern of a 30+ year old memo would be different than todays ink or laser printers. Then you have to measure paper size. Common paper size in the 70's was 8.5 x 10.5 today it is 8.5 x 11. And lets not forget other forensic testing of rag content, ink composition and carbon dating.

Like our finger prints, every keystroke and every machine is UNIQUE. Without out these they haven't made the case that these memos are REAL.

NO credible defense lawyer would except from the prosecution such shoddy evidence as dan and Cbs have produced!
