« John Kerry's Lock Box (It's Still 9/14/2001) | Main | Brace Yourselves » September 8, 2004Kerry: War on Terror Wrong, But I'm For It!A month ago, John Kerry said he would have voted for the war in Iraq even if he knew no weapons of mass destruction would be found and no links proven between the regime of Saddam Hussein and the al Qaeda terror network. Yesterday, John Kerry called the Iraq war "the wrong war in the wrong place at the wrong time." Today, John Kerry said the Iraq war is part of the war on terror. So... putting it all together, John Kerry says he supports fighting wrong wars against terror. He was for it before he was against it before he was for it. Is that nuanced enough for you? Oh, and last year, responding to Howard Dean, John Kerry said that any candidate who thought the war in Iraq was wrong was unfit to be president. He was right about that. Posted in Campaign Season
