TdF: Lance in Lead

lance03.jpgLance Armstrong is back in the yellow jersey as the leader of the Tour de France after his U.S. Postal team won the team time trial today on rain-slick roads in convincing fashion. Before today's stage, Spanish rider Iban Mayo, expected to challenge Lance in the mountain stages, admits his chances of winning the overall race are slim following his crash yesterday. Among other riders considered to have a legitimate shot of defeating Lance, Jan Ullrich is now 55 seconds behind overall following today's team time trial stage, while Tyler Hamilton trails Lance by 36 seconds.
