« Whither P.J.? | Main | When The Mullahs Get The Bomb » June 24, 2004Torture at Guantanamo? I've Got ProofResponding to my post yesterday expressing the view that the interrogation methods approved by the military for use on suspected terrorists do not amount to "torture," a source deep within the Pentagon has sent me the previously classified transcript of a secret video tape of an actual interrogation session involving both men and women. The partial transcript is unclear as to time, date and full identities of all those involved. This is a HobbsOnline exclusive as this information HAS NOT BEEN RELEASED TO THE MAINSTREAM PRESS. You can see the actual transcript here in a PDF file. I also have received a shocking photo, which you can see by clicking here. WARNING: Both the photo and the transcript are horrifying and you may not wish to read or see them. Certainly, no one under 18 should be allowed to see them. But if this information is true it paints a portrait of torture of a kind not seen since the Spanish Inquisition. [Hat tip: Commenter "IB Bill" at Dean Esmay's blog.] Posted in War on Terror

Shocking, but I've seen worse from the terrorist camp. I hear they've been training in new more effective defense tactics! Posted by: Pietro at June 24, 2004 10:39 AMTHIS IS AN OUTRAGE!!! America must know about this! Posted by: Shawn Liu at June 24, 2004 12:38 PMI hear they've also threatned inmates with vicious animals. Those brutes! Posted by: Bryan C at June 24, 2004 12:48 PMWell, I didn't expect the Spanish inquisition. Posted by: Cardinal Fang at June 24, 2004 02:00 PM'Tis but a flesh wound...come back and fight like a man... Thanks for the laugh! Posted by: Neophyte Pundit at June 24, 2004 03:47 PMPersonally, we used to make them eat sardines and listen to Barbra Streisand's People (Who Need People) for hours on end. It always worked, they'd crack after the second time through and the third can of fish. JTFM Posted by: JustTheFactsMa'am at June 24, 2004 03:49 PMNobody expects the Spanish Inquisition. It's one of the two things nobody expects. There are two main things... no wait, two...OK, three main things that nobody expects. The first,, being hit with the comfy cushion...No the first being pinched really hard..wait..No the first is being a lumberjack, out in the pines, with the Larch.....The Norwegian Blue, with its lovely plumage. Beautiful, isn't it? Posted by: zipity at June 24, 2004 09:30 PMThey forgot the rack! No, not the dish rack! Posted by: Mario Mirarchi at June 25, 2004 08:40 AMPost a comment
