« Forecasting the Boom | Main | Fighting Back » June 22, 2004The Depths of John Kerry's SupportSouth Knox Bubba endorses Every day I look for something to like about Kerry and something good to say about his candidacy. I just can't find it. ... Yes, Kerry served honorably in Vietnam, and earned the right to call himself a war hero. ... But that was more than thirty years ago. Many served. It doesn't make you an expert on national security. No it doesn't. In John Kerry's case it made him an expert in voting to gut the military and pushing to make U.S. national security policy subservient to the whims of France and "the international community," neither of which has the best interest of America, Americans, or you and your family, at heart. None of which is likely to be very appealing to the typical American voter in a time of war. Posted in Campaign Season

Mr. Hobbs, Look what you scare out of the woodwork when you carry on like that! Dr. Strangelove did have children after all. I, too think we could have probably done a bit better than Kerry (sometimes I wish Bubba would run), but as it is, he IS anybody but Bush. One more term of Bush, et al, should take care of the Republican party for at least a decade--unless they can perfect that pesky problem of the public voting. Posted by: SemiPundit at June 22, 2004 02:22 PMYeah. Another four years of a booming economy and winning the war on terror, while the Dems offer nothing new, nothing positive, nothing hopeful, and continue to harp on nothing but negativity and divisiveness via class warfare. The GOP will be toast, man. TOAST! Posted by: dave at June 22, 2004 04:32 PMWhy don't the Democrats run Bill the Cat and be done with it? Right now, I'm leaning toward just writing in John Edwards... Posted by: Barry at June 23, 2004 09:07 AMIf my first paragraph above seems out of place, it is because the lunatic remark from the first commenter disappeared. There was something about nuking Mecca, etc. Posted by: SemiPundit at June 23, 2004 11:41 AMPost a comment
