« I've Got GMail | Main | Lies » June 18, 2004Jobs Growth in TennesseeThe Tennessee unemployment rate dropped to 4.8% last month. That's the lowest level in almost three years, according to the state Department of Labor and Workforce Development. The Tennessean says the increase of 47,900 jobs statewide "mirrors a national rebound in job growth." Meanwhile, John Kerry keeps talking about how bad the economy is. Kerry never had much of a chance to win Tennessee, a state even hometown boy Al Gore could win versus George W. Bush four years ago. With jobs growth like that, whatever slim hope Kerry had in Tennessee is gone. Put Tennessee in the W column for W. Posted in Economy & Business
