There's a price war between two gas stations in, ironically, the richest neighborhood . Of course, a year ago $1.76 a gallon would not have sounded like a bargain. Posted in Economy & Business

Except that it's not $1.76, it's $1.77. Why can gas stations charge an amount that is not payable in any sort of currency? 9/10ths of a cent is impossible to pay and instead they round up. I don't see how that is legal, but I can see how it is a VERY effective marketing trick. I'd like to see how I can get back some of those 1/10ths of a cent that I've been charged for all my life.
