Mosque Marquee

Blake over at the Nashville Files blog got me a picture of the sign on the local Islamic mosque that I wrote about here earlier today.

Thanks.

I need to buy a digital camera.

Wow, that's a departure from "Jesus loves you!"

It's quite shocking that that sign is up in Nashville. Newark-- I understand that. But Music City? That sucks.

Yea CDash -

It's really amazing and strange that someone right here in Nashville would be taking a position against killing and revenge. ;-)

You mention that this is a departure from "Jesus Loves You." What sign would you suggest - "Jesus loves you: More killing, more revenge, more war!" ?

This is a profoundly religious town - frankly I'm surprised that in a city populated by the followers of Jesus, we would not see more signs advocating peace.

I mean - correct me if I'm wrong, but Jesus was not too fond of killing and revenge...

Bill - I understand where you are coming from, but I don't see the problem with this sign - to me it looks like the Nashville Muslim community is trying to advocate peace and make that clear to the community.

You know I don't care for radical islam any more than you do - but I don't see this as a radical position... quite the contrary...

Bill may I sugges an Olympus digital 460 or higher camera it is what we use. The software is easy to use and allows you to correct your photos for light, gamma, etc. Additional memory can be bought and you can take up to 200 or more photos. Lots of editing features. Our son has a Kodak and the software is not near as useful.
