Not Only Anti-War. On The Other Side.

Think the Left will change its tune on the war in Iraq if we find proof of the weapons of mass destruction? Think again.

Even if we were to discover enormous warehouses full of nuclear weapons, the war still wouldn't have been justified. - popular syndicated political cartoonist Ted Rall, who describes himself as typical liberal Democrat.
I'd link to the page where he wrote it, but I'm pretty sure that there's a special room in Hell for people who send Rall extra traffic.

What's it gonna take? A map being found in Iraq, showing a big red bulls' eye on the block that Rall lives on with the annotation "Put WMDs Here, light fuse, run like hell" in Arabic, signed by Saddam?

Hey, I can understand swimming in de Nile - but he's swallowing it like crazy.

why do you guys read ted rall?

why not just ignore him - he's a nitwit, like Ann Coulter...

How to deal with Ted Rall's idiocy?

Simple. Spread the rumor that in the right-wing dictatorship that we (obviously) live under, only an agent of the administration could possibly write and say what Rall does and not be in Gitmo.

Heck, this is so good that even Rall would believe it.

Guys - I'm a liberal and I think you all discuss Ted Rall more than I do...

To me the guy is just a sensationalist.

He sure get a rise out of you all - you talk about him all the time...

just ignore him... he will hate it...

Please allow me to ask this question again regarding finding the WMD's: Where are the people who worked on the programs, maintained the equipment, handled the paperwork, drove them around on trucks and trains, handled payroll, mopped the floors, dug the holes, covered them up....

Again, did Saddam do all the digging himself when nobody was looking and kept the only copy of the map?

In addition, that was one hell of a strategic decision--to hide or get rid of his weapons of last resort so they wouldn't be found, knowing that the most powerful nation on earth would soon take over his country.

Where are these people?

Yeah, and that room is covered with badly drawn cartoons.

"In addition, that was one hell of a strategic decision-- to hide or get rid of his weapons of last resort so they wouldn't be found, knowing that the most powerful nation on earth would soon take over his country."

It was a strategic decision based upon previous experience, in which he did hide or move weapons, knowing that the most corrupt world body on earth would cover his ass.

He was responsible for their cash flow, after all.

"Guys - I'm a liberal and I think you all discuss Ted Rall more than I do... "

That's the problem. The left won't do anything about him and his like, so the right has to expose them.

When Rall is as obscure as he deserves to be, I will ignore him. The fact is, he has a subtstantial podium and declares himself to be a typical left Democrat. I think he's right. Damn shame, that.

SemiPundit,

Where are all the people who worked on WMDs?

Gee, I'm sure the worst among them have all willingly come forward so they can face possible future prosecution.
And I'd imagine that some may have been apprehended or even come forward. But publicizing their cooperation would probably only mean their families as well as themselves being targeted for execution, wouldn't it? Any publicity would only further drive DOWN cooperation among current and future subjects.
You'd have to be an IDIOT to publisize ANY cooperation because those who were still free to move or destroy evidence of WMDs would certainly act upon such revelations.
Don't you think people would be much more likely to cooperate AS LONG AS THEIR ANONYMITY WAS PROTECTED?
Get a clue.

A great line from Bogey in Casablanca to remember when thinking about ol Ted... Peter Lorre (scum bag in this film, major scum)... asks Rick "you hate me don't you Rick?" ... and Bogey replies.. "i suppose if i ever thought about you, i would".

i urge you all to let God take care of the wrath - if you are too close to Ted in a foolish shouting match, you will suffer the same fate. i regret that Ted's bile is a contagious WMD ... and a good person might find himself or herself sick with the same slime. You cannot save Ted.... unless he chooses to save himself.

Fight evil with good... and offer your kindness to a just person who deserves it.

Er.. the left certainly discusses Coulter more than the right too. So?

Posted by: HH at May 21, 2004 12:27 PM

Hell, if someone found a document in a terrorist's dead hand which was a point-by-point plan to blow up the White House, with personnel, logistics and scheduling, the Left would say he was just practicing his handwriting.
