Greenspan Tells Senate Panel Economy Is Gaining Momentum

The economy appears to be gathering momentum, the Federal Reserve Board's chairman, Alan Greenspan, told a Senate panel this afternoon, and the threat of deflation, or falling prices, is no longer an issue.
