Come on. Ahmad Chalabi is a dishonest opportunist who has consistently failed to provide accurate intelligence about Iraqi weapons programs and Al Qaeda connections. He simply can't be trusted, so neither can this "evidence" of a Saddam-Al Qaeda link.

It does seem a little suspicious, considering the source. I suppose that somewhere in our government files could be found a similar document bearing the name of our ally Osama bin Laden and his Afghan Mujahadeen.

William Cohen in his sworn testimony on March 23, 2004, said that the Clinton administration bombed the Sudan pharmaceutical factory because Osama bin Laden had invested money in the plant, because the plant owner had traveled to BAGHDAD to meet with the Iraqi head of VX nerve gas research. In a Washington Post article January 23, 1999, Richard Clarke made similar accusations about the ties with bin Laden and Iraq. Now Clarke says there are no ties. Hmmmmmm.

Gee, now that the 9-11 panel has shown that there has been a long and collaborative relationship between Al Queda and Saddam what will the slanderous Bush haters do now?
