The first, titled Lead, starts with words sure to warm the hearts of small business people and entreneurs nationwide. Says Bush, softly, "One of the things that must never change is the entrepreneurial spirit of America..." The other ads are called Tested, (also available in Spanish) and Safer, Stronger, both of which strike me as very effective if a bit low-key. Posted in Campaign Season

It's been a rough couple of months for W, and JFK (Just For Kerry) had the benefit of incompetent opponents and compliant, cheerleading press corps to pave the way. For one, we were discussing at the last VRWC meeting when the best time to "capture" Osama would be, the popular choice was to wait until just two weeks before the election, but I think that's too long.
