As I have said before (see my comment here), I really need to learn this Blogosphere jargon and terminology... (My blog has been running since the fall of 2002, so I should be aware of some of these things by now.) I think I kind of understand what a "carnival" is..., but I am not entirely sure how those work. There seems to be a lot that I have yet to learn...
