« GOP Brand Making a Comeback | Main | Yes, Palin IS an Energy Expert » September 19, 2008Obama Moles in Justice Department Target Republicans for Campaign of IntimidationIf Barack Obama wins, he'll run one of the most aggressively anti-free speech administrations in American history. We've already seen the Obama campaign launch campaigns of threats and intimidation to try to get radio stations to not have guests who criticize Obama or raise questions about his past and his associates - and to even go so far as to ask the Justice Department to launch a baseless criminal investigation into an independent organization that produced an anti-Obama ad. Now, pro-Obama lawyers in the U.S. Justice Department are planning to use civil rights statutes to criminally prosecute Republicans for exercising their free-speech rights this election cycle. It's disgusting but true. Walsh made it clear that the Criminal Section intends to use the civil rights statutes to criminally prosecute anyone they consider to be engaging in voter "intimidation" or "oppression." Now, that might sound like a reasonable idea until you realize that Walsh and Kappelhoff's definition of "intimidation" and "oppression" goes far beyond what you and I would imagine. Walsh stated that because we have an African-American presidential candidate, there would be voter suppression - a baseless assumption that plays on left-wing stereotypes of America as a racist nation. Every single example of wrongdoing that Walsh and other presenters used in their presentations talked about Republicans: there was not a single example of any wrongdoing committed by any Democrats in the entire two-day conference.Walsh and Kappelhoff are two highly-placed lawyers in the Justice Department who have given big campaign donation to Obama, and are now targeting Republicans, but of course not doing a thing about the serial voter fraud efforts of Democrat-allied organizations like ACORN. What was one example of an alleged "criminal" effort to "suppress" voting? Sending mailers informing voters that state and federal law both require that someone must be a citizen in order to vote. According to these pro-Obama lawyers in the Justice Department, telling the truth about the citizenship requirement is a criminal effort to suppress voting. Well, they're partly right. It isn't criminal, but it IS an effort to suppress voting - by illegal immigrants who don't have the right to vote. That's the kind of voting we have a patriotic duty as Americans to try to suppress. Today one of the partisan hack Obama donors at the Justice Department, James Walsh, indicted a Republican because of a flyer the Republican put out saying it was a felony for illegal immigrants to vote in an election. Don't believe it? See for your self at THIS LINK. Posted by: Paul Revere at October 1, 2008 8:35 PMPost a comment
