I'm not Edwards' biggest fan, but maybe the press is looking for something other than the word of a few anonymous sources to the National Enquirer before dragging Edwards and his dying wife through the mud...dunno, just a thought. We're supposed to believe that none of those people took a picture with their cell phones? Give me a break. And as for the claim that Democrats are favored by the press. That's good old-fashion hooey too. Barack Obama has been the target of ridicule and associations from day one. Jeremiah Wright, Farrakhan, etc... If you've been watching any news lately, you'll recall the CBS edit/swap flop, coverup for McCain. How is that media bias against Republicans?
