Gee Bill it must be tough. Your presidents approval rating hovering is the low 20's... the Republican party set to suffer its greatest defeat since '58 (or maybe even worse than that). Every single issue the Republicans have touched has blown up in their faces (Iraq, Energy, the economy, the environment, foreign policy). The best thing you can say about McCain is that he is a rogue republican that has distanced himself from the policies you espouse. Are you nervous Bill... just think... in your wildest dreams did you ever imagine it would be this bad? So swallow hard Bill. Cross those fingers. Cause your ONLY hope is the author of McCain-Feingold. I mean sure your girl from district 7 is safe, but she is likely to be one lonely lady.

It is worse than that Bill. Check out Jill Stanek's interview with Bill Bennett radio show. Jill was the nurse that exposed infanticide at Christ Hospital, located just five miles away from Barack's church. The hospital is affliated with the United Church of Christ (his denomination) and the infamous Jeremiah Wright sat on the board of Christ Hospital while the controversy was brewing.

Barack did more than just vote against it. He personally derailed it for two sessions. He was the lone senator speaking against it from the floor, he used parlimentary trickery to prevent Jill Stanek's testimony from being presented the second session as it was too damaging.
