Bredesen: McCain a "Very Attractive Candidate"

Tennessee Gov. Phil Bredesen - who has made news a lot this campaign season by stating the obvious - that Democrats don't have a chance to beat incumbent U.S. Sen. Lamar Alexander, and that Tennessee isn't likely to go for Barack Obama - has done it again, telling Real Clear Politics that "John McCain is very attractive as a candidate in a lot of ways."

I don't know if Southern Democrats really matter -- except in North Carolina and Virginia, where Obama will likely steal a couple red states.

But according to this, only Pennsylvania and Florida matter in the Electoral College:
