Boom and Bust

tnflag.jpgJust a thought, but how many fewer workers at the Tennessee Department of Children's Services would have to be laid off due to impending budget cuts if the Bredesen administration was spending $8 million more there and $8 million less on a fancy underground ballroom at the governor's mansion?

Just a thought, but how many more children would be covered and live in the state with the best Governor's mansion in the country if we had an income tax?

Christian:

I paid $1,000.00 in Tennessee income tax last year, why didn't you?

A tax form is available on the State web site to assist you in sending in an income tax contribution if it would make you feel better.
