Soft on Security

Today the Republican National Committee has released a new web video, Protect America Alert, highlighting the failure of Congressional Democrats to permanently update America's 30-year-old terrorist surveillance law, the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA). In 2007, Senators Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and Harry Reid all voted against providing our nation's intelligence community with the vital tools it needs to track and fight potential terrorists. More information about the need to update FISA here and here.

Thank goodness Clinton, Obama and Reid voted against this.

It's not about being soft on terror, it's about the further erosion of the 4th amendment, and thankfully the Democrats are trying to restore the constitution.

Clearly, the Republicans are going to continue to use fear to scare the sheep into giving up their rights...again.
