I'm pro gun ownership but this argument is just not valid. This is cherry picking by citing countries that have system for legal registration of guns and ignoring less organized countries with no list of gun owners. Think about it this way: If you had a neighbor that continually collected more and more guns, of the motr ot less military variety (automatic weapons, high caliber, etc.), would you get nervous after a while? Sure you would. Why would you get nervous? Because you aren't insane. And if you want a treat, talk to the guys that think that the second amendment means that civilians should be able to own tank and bombers, etc. You haven't been to the twilight zone until you talk to one of them.
